Stockholm, Södermalm and especially the SoFo district has been mentioned as one of the best 7 places to visit 2014!
Financial Times travel said that Södermalm is:
“a funky city-break destination with shopping, restaurants and a buzzing bar-hopping scene.” “Södermalm is attracting hipster weekenders”
They recommend Stockholm and in particular Södermalm, SoFo (the area south of Folkungagatan) which is crammed with small fashion boutiques and full of coffee shops, bars and galleries. They also mention that Södermalm has a beach, we have never seen it but maybe it’s there..
