Sweden corona policies – do as you like but keep the distance

Sweden has chosen to go it’s own way in the fight against the corona virus. Not a complete lock down with closed shops, restaurants and no expensive fines for going outside for leisure or shopping. People are asked to keep a safe distance, showing a responsibility for helping others not to catch the corona virus.

Weather or not this will mean that the number of deaths will be lower or higher than other countries per million inhabitants is something that we will see when the corona virus has slowed down.

On a sunny April day in Stockholm it looks like it’s business as usual which means that the economy has not come to a full stop and this is what many think a smart move.

Until now the death rate in Sweden has been very high compared to other countries and measured per million inhabitants but there is no way of knowing the final answer on this until the corona pandemi is slowing down and we can start to compare reliable statistics.

Be safe out there, keep a distance and wear a face mask to minimize the spreading of airborne corona virus particles.
