Almost without competition the newly refurbished “beach” at Tanto, near Hornstull subway is the most popular swimming place in Stockholm city. So crowded at times that you might not be able to find a place on the new sand beach near the water but have to make do with the grass a bit further up. If you can’t make it to one of the beautiful lakes near Stockholm this might be a good second alternative if you would like to swim with Stockholm people.
