Due to the many scandals in the Swedish Academy there will be no Nobel Prize in Literature this year.
But what does this say about the quality of the Nobel prize in literature awarded in previous years? It is basically the same people who have been deciding about the Nobel Prize previously that are now suspended and not trusted to make these decisions.
This would obviously mean that the quality of previous prizes are also something that might be questioned. The most discussed Nobel Prize in literature was the one that went to the famous song writer, will this also be discussed in the new light of the internal scandals at the Swedish academy?
However the Swedish academy try to turn their long academy coats around it seems they will stumble upon lies, deceit and non-transparency problems.
